Ms. Shirley has an over 25-year career in general insurance, primarily in the area of insurance broking in Jamaica and Cayman with occasional bespoke assignments at Lloyd’s of London. MS. Shirley is particularly renowned for her expertise in international / cross border account management along with active product development. Prior to this appointment Ms. Shirley held the position of Senior Manager responsible for CGM’ Gallagher’s Commercial Risks Division encompassing both technical and marketing functions.

As VP Property & Casualty for CGM Gallagher Jamaica, Ms. Shirley manages the company’s day-to-day operations inclusive of marketing & sales, client servicing, broking operations and business development. Ms. Shirley is a leader in the business of insurance broking and is a member of the alumni for The University of the West Indies, The Insurance College of Jamaica and The Chartered Insurance Institute of the United Kingdom having participated in various professional programmes and courses in technical insurance, marketing administration and management.
